New Collaborations
In 2014, we embarked on our journey as Nippon Piano, with a primary focus on providing exceptional piano services and offering a wide range of secondhand pianos. Our first store opened, leveraging over 30 years of expertise in the piano industry.
By 2017, he had partnered with Parsons Music Group, founded in 1986 in Hong Kong and recognised as one of the world’s top three piano manufacturers. This collaboration allowed us to introduce our first brand-new piano brands, including Schönbrunn and Wilh. Steinberg, bringing quality instruments into more homes.
Our mission was to present better, alternative choices to our valued customers, ensuring they had access to high-quality instruments at reasonable prices.

From Nippon Piano to Emusic
Later on, our founder recognised the market’s shift towards digital platforms, understanding that the digital market represented the future of retail. To keep pace with these changes and expand our offerings, we rebranded as Emusic in 2019.
Under our new name, we began promoting a diverse range of musical instruments and launched our e-commerce platform. This transition allowed us to broaden our reach and better meet our customers’ needs. In addition to musical instruments, we also started offering a wide selection of music books, catering to both novice and experienced musicians.
Our vibrant logo symbolizes the joy and diversity of music, bringing a sense of happiness to all who see it. With this fresh identity, we aim to continue our mission of spreading the love of music to a broader audience.

Strategic Relocation and Expansion
In 2020, we relocated our Puchong headquarters to a more strategic corner lot on the same street, marking a pivotal transformation in our business. This move was more than just a change of location—it represented our vision to evolve from a piano-focused business into a comprehensive one-stop music store.
With our new space, we expanded beyond pianos to offer a diverse range of musical instruments and accessories, providing customers with more options and choices to meet their varying needs. This strategic shift, building on our 2019 rebranding, allowed us to serve a broader community of musicians and establish ourselves as a complete destination for all their musical requirements.

Expanding Our Horizons
In August 2021, we seized the post-COVID opportunity to expand our presence by venturing into the Johor Bahru (JB) market. Recognising the need for a one-stop music instrument shop in the area, we identified a gap: the absence of Kawai and Roland service centres. To address this, we introduced a wider range of brands to the JB market.
This strategic expansion also aimed to attract customers from Singapore, offering them access to high-quality secondhand pianos and exceptional service. By bridging this gap, we not only provided more options for local customers but also positioned ourselves as a regional hub for top-notch musical instruments and services.

New Frontiers in Musical Excellence
In May 2023, we expanded by opening a new branch in Petaling Jaya (PJ).
As authorised dealers for various renowned brands, we recognised the importance of showcasing our wide range of musical instruments across different regions to boost brand and store awareness. Our expanded inventory included high-quality instruments from brands such as Mayga for digital pianos, Covenant and Crafter for guitars, and Kai for ukuleles.
Additionally, we established a music academy to provide classes and products for all levels of musicians. This expansion reflects our commitment to bringing quality musical experiences and education to a broader audience.
We also established a partnership with USCI University, providing pianos and welcoming their music students for internships. This collaboration reflects our commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians and strengthening our ties with educational institutions.

A New Chapter in Johor Bahru
In 2026, we elevated our presence in Johor Bahru with the relocation and grand opening of our premium flagship showroom. This multi-level outlet features elegant wooden plank flooring and walls, sophisticated lighting with statement chandeliers, and carefully curated display areas spanning multiple floors—including a dedicated grand piano floor, an expansive upright piano section, and a complete drums showcase.
This transformation reflects our commitment to providing customers in JB and Singapore with a world-class showroom experience. The enhanced space allows us to showcase our full range of premium instruments in an environment that matches their quality, while offering expanded services to meet the growing demand in the region.
